Penn John Marshall Pre-Law Society (or Penn JMS) is a student-run organization aimed at assisting Penn undergraduates in their preparation for law school and a career in law. In JMS, our members will educate themselves about what to expect from law school, how to apply, and the various career prospects available to law school graduates. Here at JMS, we seek to build a bridge between our members and law school students, admissions representatives, attorneys, and judges. Former JMS students have benefited immeasurably from their membership in the honor society and have gone on to attend schools such as Harvard Law School, Stanford Law School, University of Pennsylvania Carey Law School, Columbia School of Law, Duke Law School, Georgetown Law Center and many more.
