Mock Admissions

February 16th at 6:00P.M

Huntsman Hall JMHH 270

Admissions officers from the University of Richmond, Boston College, and Notre Dame are visiting us to talk about the admissions process. Students will have a chance to look at redacted files and discuss with the admissions officers which students were (not) admitted and why (not).

This is a great opportunity for everyone since this event has not been done before at Penn. It is really valuable for gaining insight into the admissions process and learning about the three schools and their procedure.

The event is open to anyone, so feel free to bring your friends.

The members of JMS are invited to attend a panel discussion on Wednesday, October 28, 5:00pm, Ben Franklin Room, Houston Hall, 2FL, University of Pennsylvania.

Representatives from Berkeley Law, NYU Law, Northwestern Law, USC Gould School of Law, and Texas Law will talk about our respective schools and programs.  We will also discuss tips on preparing law school applications and the application review process.  Most importantly, Penn students will have an opportunity to ask the questions that matter most for their success in the law school admission process.

We will serve Pizza and Salad from Zestos.

We hope that you that you enjoyed your Fall Break, and we welcome you back to campus. We would like to invite you to our first official JMS event of the semester: The JMS Law School Panel. Four students from Penn Law will talk about their experiences at the law school. You will have the chance to connect with them and ask any questions that you may have about being a law student.

Attendance is mandatory: We were able to waive everyone’s membership fee this semester, however, this means it is more important than ever to attend all our events as a JMS member.  Please RSVP here so we know how much food to order. If you have a conflict on that day, please let us know via email (jmsupenn@gmail.com). We are looking forward to seeing everyone there.
